Previous Missions: Serving Across the Globe

Join me on a journey that began in the summer of 2023 with my first mission trip, a step that changed everything. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of participating in four mission trips, each one deepening my faith and expanding my heart for God’s work around the world. I used to wonder why I should go abroad when people at home needed help, but God tugged on my heart to step beyond my comfort zone. Now, I’m stepping into part-time missions in the U.S., eager to continue sharing God’s love both locally and globally. This page shares the stories, lessons, and incredible experiences from each trip.

55.5 hours of travel led us to a beautiful community of people in the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴

What a blessing it was to serve on the Media team for Students International and capture beautiful stories of how God was working in this beautiful country.

I am so thankful for this amazing team for rolling with the punches of travel chaos + leaning into the adventure of spontaneity :)

Life advice: learn another language!! It will help you connect with more communities and other parts of the world 🤍

Mexicali- Bayside Church: Spanish Interpreter

Mexicali 2024 was such a blessing! I felt God’s presence, I felt joy, I had the sweetest conversations interpreting for my team. Saying bye to the families and kids is always the hardest part of missions- I miss my kiddos dearly, I miss their joyful faces as we got to their site every day, I miss Elias going crazy with the watercolors all over my arms, I miss playing escondidas with Brittany, I miss dancing with Rafael, I miss getting my nails painted by Ashley. I can still envision our goodbye- as the kids pressed against the fence and nearly chased our car down the road- I feel forever impacted by their love and miss them will all my heart!

It’s a humbling feeling to be more impacted by their community than by our goal to impact them. Thank you Jesus for this opportunity to be your hands and feet🤍

Tajikistan- One Collective: Evangelism

My mission trip to Tajikistan was a journey unlike any other. Initially, we prepared for healthcare, worship, and business outreach, but God had other plans. Our trip transformed into an evangelistic mission in a community where 90% of the population is Muslim. It was a humbling experience to share the Gospel in such a setting, witnessing God work through every conversation and interaction. Tajikistan’s natural beauty and the warmth of its people made the experience unforgettable, and I’m beyond blessed to have been part of this mission.

Europe- Steiger International: Creative Evangelism

Each week, we dedicated time to outreach days, taking creative signs out to the streets with questions like, “What is the greatest masterpiece to you?” or “What are you living for?” These questions sparked deep, meaningful conversations with people searching for purpose. We’d use these conversations to share the Gospel and tell people about Jesus in a way that felt real and personal.

Stepping out of my comfort zone felt a bit like “stepping out of the boat,” but God showed up in incredible ways! Through these outreaches in Germany and Amsterdam, we shared the Gospel with over 2,500 people, and 68 made the decision to follow Jesus!

A huge part of our focus was on the Global Youth Movement, which reaches out to young generations unlikely to step into a church and who often follow along with the world’s flow.
